ONYX MODE was born from a life-changing journey to South Africa in 2018 a trip that opened the door to culture, connection, and purpose. What started as a personal experience quickly grew into a mission to share the beauty, craftsmanship, and traditions of Africa with others.

Founded by Antoinette Sullivan, known as Onyx, the brand is built on relationships with artisans across the continent. We travel back and forth to Africa to work directly with makers who handcraft many of the pieces you see in our collections. This hands-on approach ensures authenticity, quality, and respect for the traditions behind every item.

At ONYX MODE, our goal is simple: to bring meaningful accessories and cultural goods into everyday life. From bold brass jewelry and cowrie shell pieces to vibrant Ankara prints and natural skincare, each product reflects heritage, artistry, and pride.
