Do you offer local pickup?
Local pickup may be available during select events or pop-up markets. Please check our Events & Markets page for upcoming locations and availability.

Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking details so you can monitor your delivery.

Do you ship internationally?
At this time, shipping availability may vary. Please contact us directly if you are outside the United States and interested in placing an order.


Products

Are your products really made in Africa?
Yes. Many of our products are handcrafted by skilled artisans in countries such as Ghana and Kenya. We travel directly to Africa to source authentic items and build relationships with the makers behind the products.

Are your items handmade?
Most of our products are handmade or handcrafted, which means slight variations in color, size, or design may occur. These differences are part of what makes each piece unique.

Will the brass jewelry tarnish?
Brass may naturally develop a patina over time. This is normal and can be easily cleaned using a jewelry cloth or gentle polishing method.

Are your materials ethically sourced?
Yes. We work with trusted suppliers and artisans to ensure materials such as bone and horn are ethically sourced.


Skin Care Products

What should I do if my shea butter melts during shipping?
If your shea butter softens or melts due to warm temperatures, simply place it in the refrigerator for a few hours. It will firm back up and maintain all of its benefits.

Is African black soap safe for sensitive skin?
African black soap is suitable for many skin types, but we recommend testing a small area first. Always lather the soap before applying it to your skin.

Are your skincare products natural?
Yes. Our skincare products are made using traditional ingredients and are free from harsh chemicals and synthetic additives whenever possible.


Events & Waist Bead Fittings

Where can I shop ONYX MODE in person?
You can find us at pop-up shops, festivals, and vendor events. Visit our Events & Markets page to see where we’ll be next.

Do you offer waist bead fittings?
Yes. Waist bead fittings are available during select in-person events. This is the perfect time to start or add to your collection.

Do you offer personal waist bead fittings?
Yes, we offer personal waist bead fittings by appointment. You can view available dates and schedule your fitting directly through the calendar on our website.

Do you host waist bead parties?
Yes, we offer Waist Bead Parties for groups who would like a private and personalized experience. This is a great option for birthdays, girls’ nights, wellness gatherings, or special celebrations.

If you and your friends are interested, simply send us a message and we will make arrangements with you.

Please note:
A service fee is required for waist bead parties, and the cost may vary depending on travel time and location.

Returns & Exchanges

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
All sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or incorrect. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

What if my item arrives damaged?
Please contact us immediately with photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue.
